A portfolio of work by Alex Masket, a severely autistic 22-year-old based in New York. He may not communicate verbally, but Masket speaks forcefully through his extraordinary collages, created with everything from duct tape to press-on letters.
Artist Alex Masket is entirely self-taught and has been experimenting with color, letters, and numbers since the age of 2. Masket lives in New York with his family. His work has been the subject of numerous one-person and group exhibitions, and Masket and his unique creative process are the focus of the award-winning documentary Breaking Boundaries: the Art of Alex Masket by filmmaker Dennis Connors.
