Esopus in San Francisco

June 5, 2011

Esopus is headed to San Francisco!

We’ll be holding an event for Bay Area readers on Wednesday, June 22nd, from 7 to 10pm at Press: Works on Paper, a fantastic new book and paper ephemera shop at 3492 22nd Street in the city’s Mission district.

The evening will kick off with a contribution from author Katherine J. Lee, who will read her remarkable short-story debut, “Reading,” from our current issue, Esopus 16. Make sure to stick around afterwards to say hello to Katherine and chat with other Esopus contributors, readers, and supporters while enjoying a beer or two on us. You’ll also have the opportunity to peruse copies of the entire run of Esopus (including the hard-to-find first seven sold-out issues), which Press: Works on Paper will have on display for the event. (There will be copies of Esopus 16 for sale as well.)
