1/21/08: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2007 was a fantastic year for Esopus and the Esopus Foundation, and we have high hopes for 2008. We're currently at work on Esopus 10, due to the printer in mid-March and on newsstands in mid-April, and it's shaping up beautifully. Check back here in February for a sneak preview.

12/20/07: MORE BACK-ISSUE CONTENT ONLINE
Select articles and projects from sold-out back issues are now available online, presented with a custom-designed Flash viewer to approximate the look and feel of the original contributions. The first offerings were from Esopus 1. We've now added three more: "Soft Serve," Daniel T. Neely's fascinating piece about ice-cream truck music in Esopus 4, and two features from Esopus 3: "Home Made," an interview with acclaimed indie band The Wrens, and "Tricks of the Trade," a found object contributed by Michael Rohatyn. Enjoy them!

11/20/07: PHOTOS FROM KITCHEN EVENT
Our second annual "Evening with Esopus" on Tuesday, November 13th, featured a reading by actor/director Tom Gilroy of "A Short Film about Andy Warhol," the unproduced Jim Lyons screenplay published in Esopus 9, and a set of music by Brooklyn musical duo High Places. The evening also included rare screenings of work by Taiwan-based filmmaker Tsai Ming-Liang and conceptual artist Kay Rosen. VIEW PHOTOS HERE

11/18/07: SUPPORT THE CAUSE, GET GREAT ART
We can't offer Esopus at its deeply subsidized cover price without your continued support. Any donation you make to the Esopus Foundation is fully tax-deductable, and will be noted on our Funders page as well as in the magazine. Certain contributions receive a special thank-you: limited-edition multiples by artists who have created projects for past issues. Check out our donation page to learn more.
