DEMETRI MARTIN: COMEDIAN
Pages from a Joke Journal

Underground comedian Demetri Martin surrenders pages from one of the joke journals he always carries along with him for jotting down examples of his idiosyncratic observational humor.

A mainstay of New York City’s underground comedy scene, Demetri Martin has been a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman and Premium Blend. He is also a writer for Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Daily Show, and Don’t Quote Me. In 2003, Martin won both the Jury Award Prize at the Aspen Comedy Festival and the Perrier Comedy Writing Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He was recently named “one of the 25 funniest people in America” by Entertainment Weekly.
